I was super excited to get my makeup done for the first time. Sometimes getting your makeup done can be really daunting but it was a blessing I already have a relationship with Larissa. She talked me through the whole process and I felt really confident. While she was doing my makeup we just talked about life and it made me feel really comfortable, but by the end it felt like a regular catchup BUT GLAM!

It was fantastic. It was simple but looked stunning. Having the right tools and tricks has just made it very achievable and I’m glad I’ll be able to do it myself from home here on out. Larissa’s confidence in me helped me to believe I could apply these makeup skills to my regular makeup routine.

I learnt how to do skincare and put on foundation which I enjoyed.

Usually other workshops I’ve been to they don’t really do makeup, and I really enjoyed working with makeup and meeting new people.

I love how I actually got to work with makeup. I actually understand how to apply makeup because I had no knowledge before. I’m able to actually apply it. I enjoyed putting different types of colours on my face that worked.

I enjoyed learning about doing my eyebrows and my eyeshadow because they were the things I wasn’t sure about doing.

I just wanted to send a message of thanks for your beautiful work yesterday. I had so many compliments on my makeup and hair. But most of all I really valued your kindness and sense of calm. You are amazing at what you do, and your spirit shines brightly for all to see. Thank you again!

It was so nice to feel beautiful. It was amazing…looked good all night…I didn’t want to wash it off.

The time for formal i so stressful, trying to find a makeup artist, someone to do your hair. I was blessed with already having a relationship with Larissa and she even helped with my hair. Sitting in that chair I felt like a princess and I felt so pretty when I saw the final look. Larissa and I talked through her doing my makeup, I almost forgot she was doing it. When I put the dress on and everything finally came together, I couldn’t believe it. I still looked like me but I saw the art of makeup amplifying the already existing beauty within me. Getting my makeup done was one of the most feminine and beautiful moments of my life and I will genuinely hold that dear to my heart .

DescriAn experience I wish I had when I was a pre-teen! Larissa ran an incredible makeup and self-esteem workshop with thirteen of my year 5/6 girls. Everyone sat at a long table with their own mirror and a selection of age-appropriate makeup. The girls were so excited when they walked into the room. Larissa knew exactly how to talk to the group and get them following each step of the makeup tutorial. She was so attentive to each girl and really drove the message that makeup is to enhance the beauty you already have. I was so grateful that Larissa didn’t just teach makeup steps but interacted with each girl, pointed out something beautiful about them and made them feel seen and heard. She is a natural teacher and made each step of the process easy to follow. I even learnt something new about my makeup application!

The self-esteem workshop really promoted positive self-talk, understanding yourself as a young female, feeling confident about who you are, understanding your own boundaries and not falling into the trends and traps of beauty depicted in social media. The booklet Larissa created provided opportunities for the girls to articulate their thoughts in these areas. Larissa gave space for the girls to share and ask questions and was so encouraging along the way. I would have Larissa back to run a workshop again. What an experience!

Our students had the opportunity to be open and real about girl issues. Being ok about who they are as unique individuals. Activities were valuable to demonstrate and be able to express the pressures of society.

Activities were valuable and helped our students talk about expectations and what was realistic and unrealistic when it came to INNER and OUTER BEAUTY. Students were able to find strategies to overcome issues of insecurities that an everyday girl goes through , this helped our students not feel alone.

The girls enjoyed the connections they built with other girls and enjoyed hearing each others stories and spending time connecting.

Larissa has a friendly approachable service with long lasting products, great for a night out.

I absolutely loved the experience of being glammed up with larissa. She is so amazing at what she does and I love the look she created, it was beautiful and made me feel confident and happy. Throughout the process she made me feel super comfortable and was lovely to chat to! Overall the experience was extremely joyful and I can’t wait till next time!
