This popular workshop is designed for pre-teens and teens to help them learn to have a healthy relationship with makeup and their self-esteem. Individuals go through a step-by-step makeup masterclass where they learn how to use makeup to enhance their natural features. Larissa teaches individuals how to manage low self-esteem and provides simple and affective life skills so they can manage their inner and outer beauty, resulting in a positive balanced self-image.

Larissa runs these workshops at schools; non-profit organisations, health and wellness centres, and other organisations that are looking to help improve their students or staff members. This is a fun, educational, safe and interactive workshop, where each session runs for two hours with a practical makeup session demonstration at the end, where each individual learns application techniques, tips and tricks to enhance their natural features.

This workshop runs for five weeks.

The key components covered in this workshop are –

  • What healthy self-esteem means and what it is composed of...

  • Increase self-knowledge by exploring personal skills, traits, talents, and goals.

  • Strengthen self-support by understanding what you need and how to obtain it.

  • Learn how to build self-esteem through self-nurturing behaviour.

  • Gaining tools/ techniques to deal with issues such as identity, body image, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and self-worth.

  • Learn a step-by-step Day to Night makeup look with professional techniques and application that’s quick and easy.

Mother and Daughter Workshops

I speak to many mums who share how stuck and outdated they feel about their makeup routine. They want to change it up and feel RENEWED but they don’t know how, and as a result of this, they have found that their daughter/s has carried on the same makeup routine. Larissa has created a tailored mother/daughter masterclass that is a special experience.


This two-hour bonding session with your daughter is going to be the perfect way to connect with her. The team at Cadence Pilates participated in a one hour PD where a group of professional health workers gained an understanding in mindfulness, why we need it and the benefits of it. They left the session feeling more in tune with their wellbeing. 

As our lives becomes extremely busy mindfulness is a learnt tool that can help individuals learn how to focus on the present moment. You become aware of what’s going on inside and around you—your thoughts, feelings, sensations, and environment.

“Mindfulness is giving yourself the opportunity to check in on you. “ It’s noticing and being curious of what’s happening in the present. It’s the opposite of being on auto-pilot which is when our bodies are doing one thing and our minds are somewhere else. It’s basically BEING WITH YOURSELF!!!”

We had the privilege and joy of having Larissa present to our team of Pilates Instructors and Physios. Her expert knowledge in the area of mindfulness and ability to connect with our team by sharing her own personal experiences and story was inspiring and motivating. Our team took away a number of mindfulness strategies to use in our own busy and often complex work and person lives. Thank you Larissa.
